Guns & America
WAMU, Washington DC’s NPR station, initiated the project Guns & America. The project is a groundbreaking national reporting collaborative in which 10 public media newsrooms will train their attention on a singular issue: the role of guns in American life.
The project approaches that issue from both sides and WAMU wanted the design to reflect that. Instead of a red, white, and blue color scheme, we chose a singular primary color with a neutral palette to support it. The primary logo lockup also references the bars of the American flag without being too explicit.
