Jetset 1:1
Jetset 1:1, A Cover Version by Michael McDermott
This project is a cover version of Experimental Jetset’s Kelly 1:1 which was a cover version of Ellsworth Kelly’s Blue Green Yellow Orange Red.
The original Ellsworth Kelly painting is 20 feet long by 5 feet tall. Experimental Jetset made a 1 to 1 replica of that painting with 150 sheets of A4 sized, colored paper on the wall. I recreated that installation on the web with 150 A4 sized divs that make up a 20 feet by 5 feet webpage, a 1 to 1 replica of the Experimental Jetset installation. If you print the website you will get 150 sheets that you could use to recreate the Experimental Jetset installation at a 1 to 1 scale.
